No me resultó pesado. Se toma su tiempo sin que le importa lo que nos ocurre a nosotros. Nos obliga a seguirle el ritmo o dejarlo, y nos recompensa con un viaje de los sentidos y las emociones pocas veces logrado en la literatura. Ya mismo arranco el segundo.

Gran novela, es necesario un tiempo para aclimatarse como el que viaja a un país con una lengua desconocida. La narración es muy descriptiva con continuas florituras que le dan una gran belleza, pero puede hacerse pesado para el lector impaciente así que tienes que estar dispuesto a perder el tiempo que está buscando Proust, lentamente, admira la vista, el olor de las flores y no mires la hora.
I agree with my friend Shane that it's almost pointless to rate this. It met my standards for a 5 star, but for a second I held back because everyone would be like, "Of course he gave it 5." Well, fuck you I gave it 5.
