I read this book out of order, so that my account for my Two Star rating - if I go back and read the first book, I may adjust my rating.

This book didn't read like a book 2, it read like part 2 of the same book - so while I did enjoy it to a certain extent, I have to say that you MUST read [b:Down to You|16001893|Down to You (The Bad Boys, #1)|M. Leighton|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1347544660s/16001893.jpg|21763760] in order to enjoy this book. The sex is hot and the tension is gripping, but much of the story is lost since I assume it takes place in the earlier book.

I liked this book, just didn't enjoy it as much as the first. Had a nice twist though!!

Olivia and Cash seem to be happy as they decide to be together when the last book left off. Right away Olivia's resolve is tested when things don't go the way as planned. After having her cousin Marissa be kidnapped for Cash's problems and then herself Olivia tries to forgive him for his wrong doings and love him.

I really wanted to like this series but it was a little dissappointing for me. First of all Olivia is so wishy washy about loving Cash it is like she is on a rollercoaster. The very first chapter where there she is talking to Taran about Cash and in 10 minutes she is convinced he doesn't like her when it is just ridiculous. Also how she gets kidnapped for being so stubborn and standing up to her mother is just plain old stupid. I mean I know the author was trying to go for suspense but in the process she made Olivia a whiny, stubborn, flaky, wishy washy, crazy female it drove me nuts. I am hoping Marissa redeems herself in the next book.

I give this book 2 stars.

Not quite as good as the first one. Not digging where this whole Marissa thing is going. She's totally not worthy. Wouldn't mind having more Gavin in book 3.
