This is pretty good. Very good creepy feel. Really good writing style. Flowed well and had a good rhythm. Characters were well thought out. This will be one to read in the daylight.... don’t read it at night. Highly recommend this book when it comes out.

The Pines are a very unlucky bunch!!! Every Last Fear had an eerie Making A Murderer feel to me. A couple of parts stood out that they may have came directly from that series. However, I enjoyed the characters so much. They were well described and you just wanted to root for them but it was in vain since you know the plot. The writing was really good, the story just didn’t wow me.

It's a problem when the characters feel like characters instead of people.

Engaging book, kept me interested but felt like the end was far too jumbled and unsatisfying. Well written but not a totally wrapped up plot. Would read the next book by author (this is debut).
