Quick read, did not love. It's been a long time since I watched the Disney animated version.

I have seen the Disney movie lots of time but until I read the book I didn't realize how strange the actual story is. I enjoyed reading the book.

This was such a strange read considering the tale, the plot, of Alice in Wonderland is so well known. It helps a bit to not get lost in the nonsense that goes up but still don't be surprised if your rereading a chance of text a few times. This heavily reminded me of when you have a dream that's so vivid in detail with it's own plot and story. But, you're kind of aware that it shouldn't make sense and you're kind of blindly following along until something finally happens to make you realize what's in front of you isn't right. I've never read something that exactly felt like having these kind of dreams. And to write it in 1865!
