3 hours 51 minutes - This is the book in the series that I remembered most about for some reason, and I did enjoy it more than the previous one. The plot seems to flow slightly better and is just generally more interesting to me. I especially like Bes' character. There are some points I'm not so keen on - for example, the relationships Sadie has with both Walt (16 while she is 13) and Anubis (thousands of years old and literally a god). However, these only occupy a small portion of the book so for the most part, the reader is able to forget they exist.
