More of the same, still fun. Some nice additions to the character roster, both permanent and probably-single-appearance. Somehow Riordan's funniest quips tend to happen during near-death fight scenes, which is... odd.

Another great installment of the Kane’s quest to stop Chaos. I liked the new cast of characters: Walt, Jaz, Bes. On to the last book!

Loved the story! And the bonus story with Annabeth added to it, loved how greek and Egyptian mythology were combined :)

This book was really good. The Kanes went on so many adventures just to find three scrolls, make the Book of Ra with those scrolls and awaken Ra himself. I was so scared for those two kids half the time I was reading. Haha. I couldn't believe how the book ended. I actually thought Apophis wasgoing to be defeated in the end. I also like how Rick Riordan made the Egyptian gods in this series similar to the Greek gods in the Percy Jackson series being ungrateful to human help, selfish, arrogant and the such. I actually thought he would make them different. I think this is my favorite out of the series so far.

I love Riordans books. They always open up new possibilities and make it easy to learn about different mythologies, I am positive I have said this before in another review of his books but it is true so I'm pretty sure I will always mention that. Bes was a good character in the book, I really did think that he would stay with the man team but you never know.
