Is this book… good? Honestly from a “plot” perspective it’s probably not. It’s a little convoluted and relies a lot on internal conflict which was a lot. Neither Felicity nor Monty appear to have changed at all in the time skip - I know age is just a number but they are almost 40, acting like teenagers. 

That said? I mostly enjoyed this book, and it gives a nice ending for the siblings!

This was a really fun read, overall. Adrian's anxiety was a little too relatable at times, but I loved his development with positive self talk throughout the book. I loved the relationship between all three Montague siblings, and even though I was a bit disappointed that Louisa and Percy didn't get to come along for the ride, the focus on the trio allowed for more bonding and development of understanding between them. I'm not usually a fan of magical realism, but the magical realism in these books is handled really well and always enjoyable. 

Would recommend if you like books that are just as plot-driven as they are character-driven, historical fiction, adventure, books that make you care about every minor character, and books with LGBTQ+ characters where their identity isn't the focus of the book (like, at all).
