I love David Sedaris’s books. I’ve read and listened to almost all of them. I loved the theme of this book.
He’s just so sharp. Each essay or story is packed with delightful insights and cheeky, self-effacing commentary… if you’ve read a lot of Sedaris before prepare for some repeat essays, but this collection is well-organised and certainly packs a punch

I think I need to give this book another chance. I couldn’t get into it. The humor was very dry, but I love him so much as he is a consistent guest on a podcast I love.
I’ll try again soon!

Does it count as a new book if you've read some of the stories before? This is a collection of new and old Sedaris tales, some fictional and some heart wrenching nonfiction. I laughed, I cried, I worried about my moral character and that's David Sedaris. What else can you read when you're home for a week?
