I just....I don't understand what happened?
Spoiler
Like the book ends with them having sex with no conversation about it, and there's nothing about Liam's background to explain why he.....claims to not like sex and never has sex and can't remember when he last had sex so that's why she feels fine just deciding to raw dog it? HUH?Spoiler

Out of all the Loathe to Love You novellas, this was my least favorite. The whole enemies-to-lovers aspect felt a bit forced. And while I'm accustomed to Ali Hazelwood characters stubbornly refusing to communicate, it became slightly ridiculous toward the end that Mara still had no idea that Liam liked her. That said, Ali Hazelwood is still a master at writing intimate scenes that make you smile and kick your feet. In that regard, this story did not disappoint.

My least favorite of the three STEMinist novellas, but still entertaining. I wanted less bickering and more friendship development… we skipped all the good parts on the enemies to lovers forced proximity train! Also Liam’s whole speech about sex at the end was… confusing? Is that an attempt at ace/demi rep? Or just like a weird misunderstanding? Or insecurity? My ace ass couldn’t tell.
