I feel like I just wasted 5h’s of my life. This was boring and it dragged on too long before starting each story! I only liked one story, bucket, and that is why I gave it 2 stars. Too bad because it sounded like it was going to be good

This was definitely different from most books, which is refreshing. I enjoyed the diary-like way the stories were told, and in such a way that are horrifyingly believable. It was also interesting that the narrator is also a character. The four stories told are going to stick with me for some time, especially the one from "Bucket". It broke my heart. This was an unexpected and creatively written book that I'd recommend for those looking for something dark.

This book was unexpectedly good! Now, I'm not as jittery about these murder stories as I probably should be, but that's mainly because I've been on a true crime roll and sadly become a little detached. But I still found these stories to bring an incredible twist to the table, in that they truly let you in on the killers' motivations, thoughts, and feelings. The style is a little unconventional, but IMHO that just adds to the stories' authenticity and overall atmosphere. Will be continuing the ACF series ASAP.
