Verily 'twas fetch. Although I am just a little bit disappointed that Act IV Scene III did not end with "exeunt pursued by a bus".

Definitely recommend if you like Mean Girls - this is such a fun way to read the story. If you've not seen the film though I think you could get lost.

It’s a fun listen if you’re a fan of both Shakespeare and cult classic “Mean Girls”. I’d even use it to teach aspects of Shakespearean language for young students who need some exposure to the Bard.

So utterly perfect. Review to come.

Fun, but I definitely am no better at reading Shakespeareanesque fiction than I was in high school.

Fun listen, Mean Girls works well in iambic pentameter and as a Five Act play. Voice acting is great, with a full cast on the audiobook. Weirdly it made me understand the plot of Mean Girls much more intensely. I liked the author’s note at the end, where he describes how he scripted the patterns of each main character on women from Shakespeare’s works and worked in famous quotes of theirs (e.g. Regina George’s mom as Lady Macbeth).

Cleverly done. Definitely for the unique subset of people who (a) have watched and remember the plot of Mean Girls and (b) enjoy Shakespeare.

Two of my favorite things, Shakespeare and quotable comedies, come together in this expert retelling of the 2004 movie Mean Girls. Fellow Shakespeare nerds, rejoice in this Shakespearean play that has a much more familiar setting.
