Okay so the fact that this was written in 2013 and is the debut novel of this author makes so much sense. The plot of this was almost 100% predictable and very insta love but shockingly I ate it up?? The nickname he uses for her is "Rabbit" and the dogs name is Bear but once I saw past that it was pretty okay. This was also an amnesia romance which is usually something I don't really read. Joshua and Elizabeth's/Lizzy/rabbits story was heartbreaking and heartwarming. I actually love the fact that 98% of the book is told from Joshua's pov. They are both very broken individuals who save each other. Some parts were pretty heavy and hard to read. Despite my criticism I loved their connection and how they came together. I loved how he always reassured her she was safe. I loved everything he did for her and how he took care of her. I loved she did the same for him. Joshua Bennett is one of the most perfect fictional men lol. They were so cute and fluffy, I highlighted so much of this book lmao. It's safe to say this has brought me out of my reading slump.
