These books are just so fun and easy to read. This fmc wasn't my favorite and was a bit annoying, but the mmc was cinnamon roll goodness!! Despite the fmc, this was still a 4 ⭐ read as I thoroughly enjoyed the continued world building.

Bex and Dergoz

Bex is a monster romance book lover. Dergoz is "The Brute " who doesn't feel he deserves a mate. Their accidental marriage starts off rocky with a misunderstanding. But throughout this book, they work their way through it. Bex is hilarious.

Bex is chaos in the best way! The brute is a sensitive soul. Great couple and lots of new information and world building!

i quite liked how she was very forward twards the end with her relationship abilities and how they had lots of work to put into the relationship to make it work. but i am quite dissapointed that there was practically NO context given to their timme alone in the jungle. in book 1 i remember her having a scar or something presumambly from him obtained in the jungle, and i was thinking that was gonna be the reason he was avoiding her - being scared of hurting her more and thus being seen as a brute and monster, but then it flung the whole misscomunication of her using the word monster to describe him and that really threw me off. because while it would work on its own, it doesnt when paried off with all the previous context. i wish we saw more of his inner softie too.... love me a bit volatile teddy bear.
