The Incendiaries

Some books are too short to tell a good story. It didn't really do anything new or different.

Sometimes books just speak to you. While I'm definitely not the kind of reader that appreciates dialogue without quotation marks, this book was a deeply disturbing, unsettling journey back to my own college relationship. I saw both of us reflected too accurately in both Will and Phoebe. This is likely to Ms. Kwon's credit in writing these characters.

DID NOT FINISH

I couldn't get into this book. The writing seemed over the top and too breathless. It just wasn't believable.

Because I finished it in one day. Unique book but glad it knew to be short.

The writing style was beautiful at times but usually hard to follow. The story got to me only in short instances.
