Loved this one, it’ll make a great movie!
3.5 rounded up I think. the angst was good but i think overall felt a bit rushed. one second she hates him and the next she’s in love w him again. would’ve loved to see more conversations abt everything that went down while she hated him

listen, i read a lot of rom coms. it's a guilty pleasure, sue me. and usually i'm just rolling my eyes the whole time at the same tired cliches and boring miscommunication plots.
but this one? this one was different. it was actually silly and funny in a way that felt real, not forced. the whole premise of an engaged couple who already hate each other and are too petty to call it off? lowkey genius. it felt fresh and creative, not just the same thing repackaged.
it was heartwarming without being cheesy, and the characters were messy and relatable. this is how a rom com should be. took off half a star because some of the antics were a little too ridiculous, but honestly? i’m not even mad. so good.
