i love a good romance novel! i love all the rubbish & the cheesiness. saw somewhere that it gave ‘how to lose a guy in 10 days’ & that’s one of my favorite romcoms ever, so of course, i’m satt. i had a greattt time with this. the concept of lovers to enemies to lovers, the male yearningggg. & i can’t wait for the movie adaptation!

I almost never ever DNF a book but this was truly terrible. Characters are unbelievably annoying and their petty fights could easily be solved with a teeny dash of adult communication. At one point it felt like every sentence was just about the silly pranks they were pulling and their complains of the other person, then add in the remarkably cringe dialogue. Incredibly incredibly incredibly ridiculous book, please go save your time and read literally anything else

- lack of understanding in where / why Naomi lost interest
- lack of understanding where Nicholas was in fact mean to Naomi (why only make her call him Nicholas)
Overall, the reasons were glossed over at the end through Nick apologizing. Also, Naomi was unbearably childish and made finishing the book a bit difficult, but I'm glad I stayed for the cute albeit cliche ending.

The unnecessary little humor remarks in the book seemed to be awkward and unfit, but considering the cliche of the book I guess it wasn't too surprising. The book was maybe mediocre at best and maybe on a good day would have gained a better review by me, but the book in general was just not it for me.
