I love a Christmas book and Jenny Hale has written some of the best of them.

Scarlett Bailey is looking forward to Christmas in Silver Falls with her family. Her Grandma owns White Oak Inn on the mountain. Her feelings are bittersweet though because after christmas the family is telling Gran that they need to sell the Inn because it's not making any money. Scarlett was instantly likeable. She's a lovely girl who wants nothing more than to make everyone happy.

Charles Bryant, a property developer, has recently moved to Silver Falls. Scarlett thinks he might be the answer she needs for the Inn. Charles or Charlie is going through a lot and he has built a hell of a lot of walls around himself.

Jenny has written a gorgeous location with such likeable characters. I loved the town of Silver Falls. The Coffee shop, The Bar all sound like places I would love to hang out. I also loved the town people. Loretta sounds like such a sweetheart and Preston sounds dreamy.

I loved the Christmas party that the Bailey's threw. It sounded like SO much fun! This story gave me a real hankering for all the festive drinks. From Peppermint hot chocolate to mulled cider. Oh man, I want them all!

This is a gorgeous festive romance that is perfect for the season. I'd love nothing more than to curl up with a hot chocolate and read this story all over again!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It reminded me of a warm sweater in a cold climate or a cup of hot tea on a chilly day. It warmed my heart from the very beginning.
Scarlett is at the White Oaks inn that her Gran owns at Christmas but it is bitter sweet this year. The family has already decided that she will have to sell after the holiday. The whole family has agreed to tell her Gran right after the holiday. Then Scarlett runs into Charlie. Besides an attraction to him she can't ignore, she is hoping he might be able to help with the inn.
She has heard he has a development company.
This book is sweet, romantic, and beautiful. It delves into family relationships and past mistakes. It really made me smile and start to look forward to Christmas this year.

Christmas at Silver Falls is a sweet, typical Christmas read that warms your heart. It's cozy and warm with a big family in the middle who never fights.

Scarlet is going to spend her last Christmas at her Gran's Inn, who have run it for over half of her life, but now can't handle it anymore because of her age. The whole family are convinced that Gran needs to sell the Inn and retire, and they're going to tell her after Christmas. Scarlet really wants to save the Inn and tries to find a buyer and comes up with Charles Bryant. Can he save the Inn?

Curl up next to the fireplace, bring out the chocolate and start reading!

This is all the cozyness of a Hallmark Christmas movie wrapped up in pages. The perfect book to pick up and snuggle under a blanket by the fireplace with a mug of warm beverage of your choice.
