The style of writing of this book made it an easy read on a difficult subject.  I learned a lot, and feel like this book would be especially valuable to someone thinking about buying their first home or moving.

Great read, helped me understand the immediate risks of the climate crisis and how I can make better decisions for my future

reading this a few months after the recent fires in the Palisades/Pasadena hits different... anxiety now higher! everything is scary!

I would recommend this book to everyone! Especially anyone who is going to buy or sell property or move in the US and/or who wants to learn more about how climate change is reshaping the geography of the US and the world. Although the subject matter is depressing, the writing and stories are so engaging that it was easy to get through. The audiobook narrator was great.

Our book group had a terrific discussion of The Great Displacement: Climate Change and the Next American Migration by Jake Bittle. It’s one of those books with a depressing but desperately important topic. Fortunately, it’s so well-written that it’s a pleasure from the reading perspective which is a balance for the heavy material. Plus, we all learned a lot!
