Writing is quite redundant and the plot is sluggish, nothing truly happened until the last 50 pages. Also, there are a ton of open plot lines that were left without any resolve.

I am OBSESSED. I read this so fast. I couldn't stop. I loved it so much.
The slow burn was so beautifully done. And I love how the Alpha/Omega dynamic was so sweet and loving rather than the typical stuff seen in books.

I saw all of the advertisements and people raving about it, and I thought "Oh good... another shifter romance with dragons, yaddah yaddah" but this one holds a candle up to Fourth Wing. It's its own book, but still so brilliant.

The book is good but it could be great. It honestly needs like another two good edits to ensure story consistency and timeline. Determining how much time has passed or what's real and what's visions could just be tightened up.

In the beginning, I didn't really like Isavelle. It was hard to wrap my head around her actions and her way of thinking. It became even harder when she started to think more like her Omega, a relationship dynamic I have not really read about earlier.
However, when you get past the stage where you find it weird and not very woke and a bit disgusting, it is easier to understand that that is just how it works in the world the writer wanted to write about. After realizing that, I really started to like the characters and their relationship. I guess even though the relationship dynamics are a bit strange to understand, it was still very beautiful and very calming.
If you are into a slow-burn fantasy smut book then this is the thing for you.
