If you’re in a book slump I highly recommend checking this audiobook out. It was a quick entertaining read with a lot of familiar voices. Left me wanting more of these type of short stories. Highly recommend.

Very cute, quick audio. Enjoyed the production, some scenes were rushed, but overall it was good.

Great production and script. Loved the characters and the topics discussed
Forced.
I will caveat this by saying I’m not a huge fan of audiobooks that come off like a tv show. I can do without all the cinematic elements, background music, and extensive voice cast. Now that that’s out of the way, the main characters were under developed and their contributions were heavily forced in this piece. The only one who seems natural was Ms. Bee (Queen Latifah). The dynamic between Efraim and V was stereotypical and 1 dimensional. The plot - she “stole” an employee’s ID, assumed her identity to win a contest, but was so dedicated to the cause that she worked 60hr weeks for a month was unbelievable. That it took nearly 6 weeks before 1) HR caught on and 2) the employee whose identity was stolen was ridiculous.

This wasn't a bad book, and it wasn't a great book either. It was entertaining and I enjoyed it. I just won't rave about it like other books.
