OMFG THAT WAS THE BEST THING EVER EVER EVER. Tamlin can quite literally burn in hell. The amount of times I had to close the book to compose myself was shocking.

I kept seeing everyone hype up chapter 54 online and... yes. I am happy. I'm really enjoying the world, I love the characters, and I am ready for more!

I actually can't believe I finished this, I was so close to giving up on it about 35% in. I did end up mostly skimming it on my kindle, so I didn't take everything in but I doubt I would have finished it if I'd read it properly. There are several sections that are just so slow that I did want to give up on it. While the first 20% and the last 20% or so are probably the most engaging, I feel like this wasn't as good as the previous book. There's also similarities to the Throne of Glass series, in the way she treats Tamlin, it was similar to how she treated Chaol, by making them the bad guy so the new "bad guy" looks better, they are supposed to make the main character into a badass, they are sexier, they care about her, they are more witty...you get the idea. Another similarity is the ending (SPOILER: Rhysand and Feyre getting what I assume to be the equivalent of married which gets revealed as she has to go off with Tamlin, was very similar to the events of Empire of Storms with another similar marriage revealed as main character gets taken away) and it makes me feel like this series is ever so slightly morphing into Throne of Glass. I may pick up the last book or maybe just read/watch a spoilery review.
