It was fine.

This was fine, I enjoyed it while I read it but it also felt like I’ve read the story before. It was satisfying like fast food is

DID NOT FINISH

it got to the spicy bits very quickly, which is absolutely fine, but the characters had negative chemistry and I wasn't into it.

Ok this was fucking great. Enemies to lovers indeed. I fucking hated him and was mad at her for being so drawn to him for a huge chunk of the book.

Guys what was this?!

Standalone romantasy is a rare breed—harder to get right than a perfect winged eyeliner on the first try. But Ella Fields delivers a thoroughly entertaining, twisty ride that keeps you hooked.

Is it seamless? Not exactly. The pacing sometimes yanks you around like a fae prince with trust issues, and a few moments left me blinking like, Wait… how did we get here? But honestly? That’s the price of cramming an entire epic into one book, and I respect the ambition.

Now, let’s talk about the love triangle. I backed my MMC like my life depended on it, and let’s just say: I was right, and I feel SO validated. The plot twists? Plentiful. The tension? Delicious. And the ending? Satisfying in a way that makes you want to sigh dramatically into the void.

This was LAUGHABLY horrendous. The writing and writing style were so cringe worthy, yet it had me. I had to know what happened and what was next, so I couldn't DNF it.

Imagine a plot idea, that has merit. Now let's add in characters and everyone hates her, except maybe her sister but even then make it questionable. Ages are to be vague, keep all details vague, don't add in character development or much world building. Slap together chapters and be sure include something that makes the read want to gagg or be repulsed in the middle of at the end of each one. Done, that is what this book is. Skip this, not worth the time
adventurous challenging dark

Love me some Ella Fields. Was this book surface level and have some flaws? Yep. Did I get annoyed at times. Yep. But I dont read Ella fields for depth I read it for vibes and this one delivered. Devoured it in 48 hours.
