This book started off confusing with jumping timelines. I would’ve been more appreciate if it said ‘3 years later’ etc instead of having to do the math at the end of the chapters. For most, this would be a vibes read. There is also a chapter towards the end of the book that switches to his POV without warning.

I found myself trying hard to get through this, and forcing myself to pick up the book just to finish. I just didn’t seem interested in it.

It was good but not great. I feel like this could’ve been at least a duology. The plot was interesting but as soon as things started, they were over. & the FMC didn’t seem clued up and didn’t develop over the course of the book.

The writing style was quite irritating and I found myself having to reread bits to understand it. & I’ve seen that I’m not the only one that had this issue

An enjoyable read nonetheless
