This was the first memoir I read in a while and I inhaled it within a few days. It felt kind of delicious to read about somebody else's messy life. I think this is a book that I would have found revelatory in my 20s because there are so many descriptions and sentences that vibrate on the page. There is a part of myself that sees myself in her restlessness, her self absorption, her over-analyzing her relationships, her bumping up against an idealized version of adulthood and that part of myself makes me want to cringe.  I think there is a lot here for a lot of people to enjoy but as a work of literature I just needed to feel like there was a purpose, a point to laying this all so bare.
