One good Deed by David Jackson is the fourth book from the author that I have read, and it is another brilliant read.
Elliot is a loner and lives with his cat Bill. He is also a manager of a charity shop, and his only friend is a woman called Heidi. He is a kind man and will help anyone that is in trouble. So, when he a woman called Rebecca asking for his help to pretend to be her boyfriend. As a man is stalking her. The man’s name is Darren who is Rebecca’s ex-boyfriend. The man is obsessed with Rebecca and wants to get back with Rebecca. But Rebecca has other ideas and Elliot ends up being the go-between them two. But soon the situation turns sinister.
Thank you, Viper for a copy of One good Deed. This is a suspenseful story of Elliot who is trying to be a hero and help a damsel in distress. But Elliot is too kind-hearted, and I felt at first quite naive and it takes awhile to find out what Rachel is really like and also what kind of person Darren really is. This is a riveting read and which I couldn’t put down, even reading it to the small hours of the morning. I highly recommend 5 stars from me.

I absolutely blitzed through this - read it in one sitting! Though the plot is basic, it's tense and fast-paced. I couldn't figure out what was actually happening, though I was questioning everyone's common sense! I must say, I wouldn't want this to happen to me!
