Really slow start, then finally got interested halfway through then completely hated the ending. Definitely not the book for me.

James Patterson + JD Barker or Stephen King?? If I didn't know who wrote this, I would have sworn it was a King book. That's how off-the-rails this was. Because of the wild plot line, I could have used another 100 pages at least to develop this more. Whether that would be used as a back story, more detailed ending, or longer ending, I'm not sure what would suit it best. But I do feel like it was missing something. Otherwise, I really enjoyed this crazy ride. I was not expecting anything like it. And I will definitely check out more of JP and JDB collabs just because of this book!

Usually I love JP books, however this one fell flat for me. Lots of build up that could have been halved, and instead the ending or what I think was supposed to be meant as a plot twist, could have been explored more. Maybe because it was co-Authored, who knows!
