What en excellent, mysterious 8th story in the Attack on Titan series!! I loved the mystery and surprises very much!
In the portion of the Survey Corps that Eren is part of, one of his own comrades is revealed to be the mysterious, skilled, Female Titan! Eren attempts to battle her in his Titan form, and pull the traitorous comrade out of the body, but the betrayer has suddenly activated a new kind of power, and is now sealed in a large, crystalline substance; the betrayer is now in a deep hibernation. As well as this, Mikasa has also made a shocking discovery: during the Titan battle, a chunk of one of the Walls was broken away…revealing a Titan’s face to be encased within the Wall! It appears the ministers of the Walls have been hiding some kind of secret from the public and warriors for so many years! Titan’s sealed within the wall, and now, some more Survey Corp members have spotted a large group of Titans heading toward a breached portion of the Wall! So much chaos, battle, death, destruction, bloodshed, and mystery is about to unfold! I’m super excited for the next episode!!

The female titan's identity is finally revealed in this volume. The story is getting quite deep now as more layers of plot are added. Attack on Titan is beginning to shape up as one of my favourite series.

This volume is just asdfghjkll the feels are just indescribable. As for the time being, it is the conclusion to the mystery of the female titan. I've always known that Annie Leonhart was the female titan because their resemblance was very uncanny and they have similar combat skills. But again, more mysteries are being made and im actually okay with it. THERE'S LITERALLY NO STOPPING IN THIS MANGA!!! Moving on to volume 9.... O(≧∇≦)O
