  • so i read this book directly after book 2 and was expecting to have to do a lot of skipping when the same events were just rehashed over but was pleasantly surprised by the minimal amount of skimming/skipping that actually happened
  • it was actually pretty cool to gain insight on what the MMCs were thinking throughout all of this, in fact a fair amount of events i previously didn't understand fully / was confused about what happened during were explained in a way that made sense to me and helps further my understanding of both plots and characters as a whole
  • i disliked how blasé everyone was about Blaise’s suicidal episodes and certain things plot-wise just did not make sense with how “young” the characters are (which i’ve expressed my discontent with in previous reviews for this series) because like you only have so many years in your life and what you are describing right now just does not make sense
  • i did get annoyed by how often and casually violence wa treated as the answer both with outside conflicts but also between the MMCs
  • the way the MMCs also sometimes treated the FMC when she wasn’t around through talking about her also made me upset because they acted like she was an object or commodity rather than an actual person
  • but overall i was pretty entertained basically the whole way through and felt decently satisfied with the read

pure angst

Dnf - skipped about a lot.
Personalities didn’t feel different or indeed recognizable to the characters we know. I would have preferred a pov from Avery. The guys were pure angst and it wasn’t always of the understandable variety. A little mopey in parts.

I am so sad this is over!! What am I going to do without my Hannaford boys?? This series was amazing. I never loved the characters as much as I did, but damn they were the perfect group.

I love seeing the story from the guys POV, how utterly in love they all where with Lips and she has oblivious to it all
