I literally devoured this! It was actually a non-game volume with all the players fighting for the sake of basketball.

Mitsui is the reason why Ryota didn't make it to the basketball tournament last year—he was hospitalized. With his comeback, Mitsui is determined to trash the whole basketball gym and its players in order to disband the team. It was learned that it's prohibited to stir a fight inside the gym and it might cause disbandment... which of course riled them up, especially without Akagi's presence.

Ryota, together with Sakuragi and Rukawa tried to fight Mitsui's gang and it ended up in a terrible blood bath. Now, entered Sakuragi's gang, Mito and the others, who are about to finish the game and protect Sakuragi and his love of basketball... but it seems like the real fight's only getting started. What's going to happen to them, and with the gym teachers outside, trying to break in? Is this the doom of basketball?

This is an awesome volume. I was literally in tears seeing Sakuragi and Rukawa, although with a few dou ahou, working together to fight the villains. And Mito and the others breaking in to help! Says a lot about their loyalty to Sakuragi even though they always tease and bully him. Also, Mitsui is so, sickeningly, handsome!!
