The core teachings behind the book i believe is worth while however he spends a short time talking about this and most of the time talking about sports or super heros or his clients and less about the premise of the book almost as though he was trying to reach a page count and was filing in the extra with stories. Most of the stories were the same, just different details which made it extremely repetitive and unnecessarily long.
The author did suggest something that made me take a step back by asking if one of the things we were after was to "Start valuing action over perfection"
Simple, pero poderoso concepto. No te va a volar la mente, pero sentarte a hacer lo que propone el autor, me ha parecido de los ejercicios más poderooooosos que todos debemos hacer

I enjoyed the ideas in this book but it was too “bro” for me. Or I should say too 12 year old boy. Soooo many sports and superhero metaphors and examples and references. I started to cringe each time. If you love sports and comic books then this is the dude for you!
Wanna be a better public speaker? Imagine you are batman. Who? It just did not resonate with me. There were too many sports/athlete examples. It was so repetitive in this way. I wish someone could reframe these ideas with less sports metaphors and less comic book characters. I think the ideas are interesting but I got so annoyed. If anyone has a recommendation of a similar book with a less 12 year old boy perspective please let me know?

I read this from more of a Law of Assumption or Law of Attraction perspective. And from that bent- anything you can do to help get your imagination in the direction of your desires is worthwhile. If activating an imaginary different more confident version of yourself can help- why not? It will start snuffing out the fears and doubts and then of course what you really desire will become
more dominant and start playing out. It must. To me it was just another “technique” for controlling our thoughts and focusing on who we really want to be. Decide. Imagine. Return. Rinse Repeat. This read is worthwhile. As a fellow dyslexic I appreciated all of the examples and stories.
