När lilla Linnea försvinner från gården hon bor på en bit utanför Fjällbacka väcks tragiska minnen till liv. Trettio år tidigare försvann en liten flicka från exakt samma gård och hittades senare död. Den gången anklagades två trettonåriga flickor för att ha fört bort och dödat flickan. Domstolen dömde dem skyldiga men de slapp fängelse pga sin unga ålder. Efter händelsen har de levt helt skilda liv. Den ena har levt ett stilla liv i Fjällbacka medan den andra har varit runt i världen som skådespelare. Alla hjälper till i sökandet efter Linnea, och till slut hittar man henne, bredvid samma skogstjärn där den första flickan hittades. Trots att Patrik tycker att det verkar långsökt börjar han och hans kolleger forska i om det finns något samband mellan de två fallen. Till sin hjälp får de Erica som sedan länge arbetar med en bok om det gamla fallet. Utredningen river upp många gamla sår och invånarnas rädsla för det okända får stora konsekvenser.
Denna del var riktigt bra och spännande. Jag var så investerad i historien och bara ville veta mer om hur det skulle gå och om allt hängde ihop eller inte. Gillade verkligen att man fick följa med tillbaka till 1800-talet för att förstå det som händer i nutid mer. Sen slutet som lämnar så många känslor och tankar efter sig, för det är ett slut jag inte var beredd på.

I have been looking forward to this book since I finished #9, and it did not disappoint! I finished this book in 2 sittings even though it was more than 600 pages. I am impressed that I love this series so much even though it is already the 10th book.
The stories and characters were very interesting and I enjoyed the pace. The structure was similar to other Fjällbacka books with stories that intertwined towards the end of the book, but it still works (even though as usual I don't like the parts set in the distant past as much as the rest).
I enjoyed getting the continuation of Ericka and Patrick's family drama, which as for the other books was compelling and gave the reader a few breaks in between the investigation scenes.
I think even though the book touches upon difficult subjects such as child murder and racism, it was not graphic nor too heavy and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I'm so on the fence on this book. I did enjoy it, I truly did, but there was also a few elements that annoyed me so much that the four stars fell short. First of all I think this book is too long for my liking, it's very repetitive and while I somewhat understand the effect that gives, it just rubbed me the wrong way.
The second thing that bothered me was the three separate stories. In an ideal world it should only be two. The whole "witch" thing felt more like a grasp in the dark for something more to bring to the story rather than something that drives the story.
But in all fairness, it is a solid murder mystery novel as I had my suspicions but never saw the full picture until the very last pages.

La Bruja es la segunda novela que leo de Camilla Läckberg y, si bien la novela lleva un buen ritmo en términos generales, muchas partes de la historia son demasiado forzadas junto con otras que no tienen propósito alguno y que no son más que páginas extra; incluyendo a los personajes que caen dentro de las mismas.
Respecto a los personajes que sí cumplen un rol en la historia, son demasiado planos y lejos de ser memorables. Adicionalmente, C. Läckberg intenta involucrar a como dé lugar a uno de los personajes principales (Erika) aunque simple y sencillamente no tenga coherencia.
En resumen, la trama principal de la novela tiene una buena base, pero la necedad (no lo puedo describir de otra forma) de C. Läckberg por plasmar su postura sobre ciertos temas políticos al igual que mantener a su personaje favorito pese a estar fuera de lugar, hacen la historia mediocre.

Siempre llego a sorprenderme con los libros de Camilla Läckberg, y debo decir que a pesar de tener muchos personajes, esta vez logra expresarse de manera perfecta quien es quien.
Creo que en esta ocasión era demasiado largo y la historia de 1762 no se vinculó con la actualidad. Esas son las principales razones por las que no le puse 5 estrellas, porque es un buen libro donde no solo vemos un crimen también vemos el racismo, el bullying, feminismo, etc.
Y creo que llegados a este punto, no solo tienes cariño por los personajes principales sin también por los que aparecen en este tomo.
Según tengo entendido este debería sr el ultimo libro de esta saga pero aun no se si lo consideraría un final. Supongo que tendré que quedarme con la duda.

Gostei MUITO do livro até às últimas 100 páginas...a resolução da trama desiludiu-me.
