I loved this book, and how Marly loved hearing of the miracles every week.

Sometimes sort of slow and tedious, but an interesting look at life away from modern, busy cities. Good themes of helping one another, relying on family, and seeing the miracles in nature and all around us. By the end, my opinion of it had vastly improved. Fine for any ages.

Definitely for a younger reader. But a nice story of community and family nonetheless.
