Meh.

Crimson Twilight was an ehhh kind of book. So far, I'm not really impressed by the first few books from this series. I'm hoping it's because they were just the few ones and it does get better. It also doesn't help that novellas are a hit or miss with me. Maybe today is no novella day or something weird for my brain.

The characters were okay and I'm glad that I got to know so much about them but at the same time - I'm not really diving into the rest of the series right now. It was okay but didn't hold my interest for that long. Overall, these novellas are really easy to dive into but they seem to be more useful as background noise right now.

Sloan & Jane's wedding gets derailed when the Pastor winds up dead from a fall down the stairs.

They put their investigating hats on to solve the mysterious death(s) happening in the castle.

I usually love Heather Graham books but I didn't enjoy this novella at all. Not a fan of Krewe of Hunters.
