I don't like poetry - generally - but I LOVE this poetry! More like playing with words down a page, the joy of juxtapositions and startling transitions permeate this collection. This is McCord's voice at it's wackiest and trickiest, and it is my favorite voice of his by far.

Even his inscription to me on the title page made me laugh-out-loud when I pulled it from the mailer:
"Don't
read this while watching Psych! Just kidding,
but, seriously, it
won't work! :)"
I can't wait to read this many times over.
