Feels like a very small slice of a much larger story. The world ends and the survivors living in the Termush hotel almost immediately discover that there's a lot more to existing in a post-apocalyptic land than they had previously given any thought to. It's slightness may be forgiven by its age, but by now we've seen the fragile foundations of polite civilization crumbling into dust in far better tellings than this.
