I do not understand why this has such low ratings. It was poignant and said so much in so few pages. It was the perfect short story to me. Many quotable moments, many metaphors for our reality. My favorite part of this was being able to see the small cracks from the beginning, then you watch the cracks grow and spread and you watch the main character become gradually more aware but continue to be complacent. Strong commentary on today. Recommend.
