Beautifully Broken Pieces:

About halfway through I knew I was all in on the whole series

There’s just something to be said about an author that can create the full effect experience in a series from the setting, character build-up, storylines, to even perfecting the order of the books in the series. For me, it’s in all details and Cathrine Cowles has this ability on lock.

Walker and Taylor have such a beautiful story with the perfect amounts of sweet and suspense. An easy five star read that’s hard to step away from for real life.

Beautifully Broken Life:

I never wanted to say goodbye to these two

Catherine crushes Liam and Tessa’s story—I didn’t want it to end and I’ll miss reading about them going forward.

One of my favorite things is when an author covers every aspect about the way experiences impact us in their entirety and Catherine doesn’t disappoint in Tessa’s story and the development of a relationship. It’s realistic and believable and honestly does so much justice to what someone who lived it real life would also go through. I think that’s why I have a hard time putting her books down—the balance she puts into the storyline and the core of each character feels like it does real life justice.

Once again the perfect amount of suspense and swoony sweetness.

Beautifully Broken Spirit:

Heels over head for Tuck and Jensen

I can’t even with these two. Like. Alllllll the heart eyes.

Cowles did it again and my heart is all in on this story.

I love a good brothers best friend romance and then adding in mystery and suspense makes for a mean punch to the feels.

This one will stay with me forever and a day.

Beautifully Broken Pieces –Overcome with grief from the loss of her mother, Taylor thinks that hiding away will aid mending her broken pieces. What she was not expecting was Walker and his extending family opening their homes and their hearts to her. And let's not forget there is a serial killer on the loose that is murdering female runners in the area. Walker and Taylor find hope, laughter, love and understanding all while mending what is broken in each other. A wonderful start to the series. Looking forward to more.

Beautifully Broken Life - Tessa is hiding from an abusive lover is plain sight, always being invisible as the days go by. Music star Liam is also hiding, but he is hiding from his career and a record label that does not see things his way. When the two come together in Sutter Lake they both find in each other exactly what was missing inside them. Can you fall in love and hide at the same time? Or will the relationship bring their past right in front of them? With emotions that take the reader on a roller coaster this was an awesome read.

Beautifully Broken Spirit - When Jensen finds herself alone and pregnant she finds strength in her family and those in Sutter Lake, especially her brother's best friend Tuck. As the years go by Tuck and Jensen build their own kind of friendship, but when one drunk night leads to the admission of feeling they both tried to hide the friendship takes on a new journey. Can their love last through baggage they both bring to the relationship? Or is their friendship ruined because they took everything too far? The best in the series thus far, this was an emotional masterpiece. Catherine Cowles once again breaks her readers hearts and piece by piece puts it all back together again.

Beautifully Broken Pieces: I absolutely devoured this book in a day seriously like a few hours. It sucks you in and you don’t want to stop reading it. My heart hurt for Taylor, she is going through some tough times and is distancing herself from everyone. Walker is amazing he is patient with Taylor but once he knows she the one for him he gives her space but he goes after her too. He is sweet, caring, and absolutely loving. You fall in love with him and his whole family especially as they start to help bring Taylor out of her funk. Then there is a underlying mystery happening that makes you even more sucked into the story. It was like reading a romance with a side of Criminal Minds. I loved it so much and this author is seriously amazing at telling stories. Each book gets better and better, I also enjoyed getting to see more of the characters from further to fall.
Beautifully Broken Life:
This a series that seems to get more amazing with each book. Walker was beyond incredible but now it is time for Liam's story and he definitely sweeps us away.

Liam is a Rockstar that is tired of his life in Hollywood, but then an incident takes place that sends him running to Sutter Lake. All he wants to do is live his life the way he wants and write the music that he wants to write, but at the moment he is suffering from some serious writer's block until he literally runs into Tessa.

Tessa is a sweet, kind, but quiet person that has been in Sutter Lake for a few years now, but hasn't made too many friends or had much of a relationship of any kind except for the Cole family. She is running away from her old life also and she is always looking over her back because she has secrets that could be dangerous to her and everyone else. Liam makes it his mission to get close to Tessa because not only has she became his muse but he is deeply attracted to her. He is incredibly patient with her and accepts her the way she is, as does she with him.

I absolutely loved this book, it was full of emotions and passion. The author has brought these characters and this small town to life where us readers can actually feel their emotions and develop an attachment to such an amazing stories

This is the box set of the Sutter Lake series and everyone need to grab this steal! I love all the books Catherine has put out so getting these all together, OMG, such an awesome thing. The love stories with a little suspense keeps you on your toes wanting more. You think you love Walker, then you read about Liam and he takes over, then Jensen gets his turn. You fall in love with each one of them. Such a wonderful series.

I read these separately and love this series. I’m putting in my review for all three books and would recommend this series.
Beautifully Broken Pieces:
This is the first book I’ve read by this author and I really enjoyed it. The two main characters are both so likable and when each of their back stories are told you just want to see them happy. The secondary characters add so much to the story that I felt the little town, good friends and aw moments throughout. The story flow moves right along making it hard to set aside. The interactions with all the characters made the mystery part work very well. I appreciated the author leaving nothing unanswered and I can’t wait for more from these characters.

Beautifully Broken Life:
What a addition to the series. Tessa just broke my heart. No one should have to live with the conditions she has. I was happy to see her face her problem and stand up to it.
Liam on the other hand is trying to find his way out of his problems. He has found fame is not what he really wanted. He loves music and wants the creative side to it and skip the public side. When he meets Tessa something changes for both of them. Liam has to use all the patience he has to pull Tessa out of her reluctance to have anything to do with him. Together they seem to fit but the outside issues makes it impossible to just live their lives. I was glad the author told this story so well. She addressed Tessa’s issues and shows a path that is good for women in this situation to follow. I appreciated Liam’s concern and involvement in trying to protect Tessa. He comes across as a great guy. The story has a great flow and the characters are very likable. I can’t wait for the next in this series.
Beautifully Broken Spirit:
Every book I’ve read in this series left me wanting more and this really did that. Jensen and Tucker were just meant for each other even though it seeded neither would do anything about it. Both were afraid of ruining a great friendship. Jensen seems not to have any luck at relationships or picking men. Tuck was a major player. The way the author gives the characters background and path to something more than friendship kept my attention. This series is better read in order since some of the characters and situations addressed are from previous stories. There is a touch of mystery and the author does a great job of answering everything. My only complaint is that I’d like to have more of this relationship after they are together. Do they have more children? How is the future interaction of Tuck with his parents? It is just a series that I wish would just keep going on and on.

The first three books in The Sutter Lake series now in a box set! If you love small town romance with a little suspense and mystery thrown in then this is a must read!!

Beautifully Broken Pieces

This was my first Catherine Cowles book and I’m so glad I found it!
The story had me hook right from the start and I couldn’t put it down. Taylor and Walker are amazing characters and I fell in love with them instantly. Taylor was so broken and in some ways so was Walker but I loved how he persevered even though she keep pushing him away, he showed her he wasn’t going anywhere.
Taylor and Walker’s story was a great introduction to the Sutter Lake series and Catherine’s books just keep getting better. Do yourself a favour and read this amazing book, you will no regret it!

Beautifully Broken Life

This book was amazing! It had me hooked from the start and I had to force myself to stop reading to get stuff done. It has everything you could want from a great book, romance, emotion, a little suspense, a strong heroine and an awesome hot guy you can’t help but fall in love with
