Read this in two readings. Loved the characters. If your into the touch her your dead/cowboy boots and trucker hats kind of guys this is for you. The scenes muah love no notes on it. The ending could have been better.

This was a fun new adult version of Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles.
If you like Elle Kennedy's writing style, you'll more than likely enjoy Good Girl Complex as well.

Elle Kennedy has created a really fun and interesting take on the good girl/bad boy trope.
Cooper and Mac are from very different lifestyles. Mac is a very wealthy good girl, who aims to please her family and their expectations, even when it goes against her desires. Cooper is a poor, hard working "townie" who hates Mac's type. But circumstances arise that he needs to get to know her and date her.
The story is very cute and funny. The banter is absolutely *chef's kiss* perfect. I loved the beach town/ college setting and how both of the MCs were developed. I wish there was a bit more spice, but I enjoyed the tension and build up.

this book is so cutesie i loved it SO much. i could not put it down. their relationship was so adorable and i loved how when they were together mac could just be herself. they really understood eachother which just made me love them even more. coop was down bad this whole book and i ate it upppp. this is a perfect cute quick read. so excited to read evans book.

I enjoyed this book. Cooper and Mac had a good dynamic. Their bickering and stubbornness was relatable. However, I was left wanting more. The ending felt rushed and unfinished. I’m hoping these characters appear in Bad Girl Reputation. I would love to see how their relationship grew and more about the rebuilding of the hotel.
the ending was abrupt but elle kennedy can write characters and romance like no other!! i really liked this
