Okay…. Everyone knows I’m a HUGE Elle Kennedy STAN, BUT this book was not it for me. Spoilers below so don’t read if you don’t wanna know, but the hypocrisy & the cheating really turned me off the book. Mac cheats on her boyfriend with Cooper and admits to it and the boyfriend forgives her… but then she keeps cheating with Cooper???? Also not a fan of the “bet”/ trick her into falling in love trope… I don’t know. This was just not relatable and gave me the ick. There were so many misses in this book and it actually makes me so sad to say this is the first EK book that I don’t stan with :(((

elle kennedy is one of my top authors but i fear this was a miss with a capital M. i expected a basic good girl/bad boy storyline which it was .. but it was also so much worse
I have read and reread this book too many times to count. I absolutely love this story- from the characters and their respective backgrounds to the location setting. I also love that this is a series and we will get to delve into various characters' stories.

Beautiful beach read. Fantastic plot and lovable characters. Definitely recommend for the summer. I know I am late to the game on this one
