I actually really liked this book! It reminded me very much of outer banks with a bigger back story. A bit predictable but sometimes you need to just read something that warms your heart and that’s what this did for me.

I liked it but honestly the miscommunication was a little too much, even for me. Plus I really hated the weird disdain for tourists that the MMC had. I get it, it's annoying to live in a vacation town, but he was really too much. perhaps I feel this way because I read this while on vacation in a vacation town. #tourist
