We’ve got an Olympic gymnast sunshine girly girl - literally everything she owns is pink - and a dirt bike riding grumpy hot headed tough guy - does he own anything that isn’t black?- and it’s an impeccable dynamic. Knox needs help with training and to prove he can be a team player to save his racing career, enter Avery who is a decorated Olympian recovering from an injury and a bad breakup. We get lots of banter, some excellent spice, Knox has a whole slew of charming brothers (yay more in the series!), and ultimately a great time. I felt like this definitely skewed more towards being Knox’s story- Avery got some backstory and characterization, but not as much or as deep as Knox- but I really enjoyed that! The narration in the audiobook was also fantastic, and Im excited to read about more of the Holland brothers.
