terrible pacing and character development and lacks motivation for the fmc. to make them 'enemies to lovers' the mmc did not have to be a sexist asshole. making fun of the color pink and quips about breaking a nail are so early 2000s. also, the sex scenes especially in the beginning are super cringy and not backed by emotional intimacy. lastly, the gymnastics elements were wildly inaccurate. for the love of god would it have hurt to use google. I doubt the MX part was correct either, but I don't know anything about those kind of sports.

I'm a simple creature. I see Teddy Hamilton is narrating, I listen to the audiobook no questions asked.
This book was banging and I sat there grinning from start to finish.
I very much appreciated reading about sports that don't really feature too heavily in sports romance (gymnastics X motocross).
I look forward to reading the rest of the books in this series.

For a few seconds I’m suspended in the air above my bike. I’m flying, weightless and free... Like all the best moments in life, it’s over before I can grab hold of the feeling.

5 stars!

I was not ready for Knox Holland, but I fell alongside Avery anyway. This is now one of my favorite Rebecca books of all-time as I could not get enough of Knox, Avery, and the rest of the Holland brothers. The chemistry between Knox and Avery was so palpable and steamy from the first page; neither of them was looking for something permanent but their romance was unstoppable. The relationships between all the Holland brothers was so amazing and just so real, and I cannot wait for their books as well

This book was super cute! I’m a big fan of collegiate gymnastics, so I loved reading about a main character who is a gymnast. Knox was also very lovable and I totally adored his family! It was great to see how Avery and Knox both encouraged each other to overcome their recent struggles. Giving this one three stars as I’d definitely recommend it for a light romance option, but it lacked plot in my opinion. Whereas character development was great, I didn’t feel like there was much that actually happened in a book of this length. I would recommend, though, as long as you go into it expecting that!
