I really enjoyed reading this book.
Maybe a tad too many twists, but overall a very entertaining read.

THE DOG IS FINE. Lest anyone dnf for fear. No promises on any of the people.

This was so much more than the suspenseful, slasher-y book I thought I was getting into (though it was that too.) A master class on how to end a story, with plenty of twists to keep you guessing.

A story about an author seeking revenge on a reader who left a one-star review? Oh, I'm definitely intrigued!

Well, I was terrified for most part of this book, it felt so real and vivid! Yes, the story is unbelievable, especially during the latter part of the book, but it still got my heart racing! I may have even made sure my doors are locked! Unfortunately, the story felt drawn out and so much happens toward the end that it made my head spin.

My favorite part is the juxtaposing POV of Emma and the killer. Hilarious! I think this is a fun read overall.

as usual, highly predictable and gratuitously violent. and it’s incredibly ironic that the author is writing about a bad author because…let me provide a quote for reference:

“His mouth is a small and dirty-looking orifice, as puckered as an asshole.”

and that’s NOT in one of the “amateur writer” sections 🙃
