This is a wonderfully sweet romance. Jacob and London have great chemistry and I really enjoyed their story. The small town setting and cast of characters are enchanting. The Carmichaels have a lot of baggage to work through and I can't wait to see how all their stories play out.

Five Spivey Coffee Starz

I really enjoyed London and Jacob's story! Nothing like a good small town enemies to lovers. I love the three old match makers and can't wait for more from the Carmichaels!

London is a jet setter no more after coming home and learning poof it's all gone, no more fancy wardrobe, no jewelry, no money, no flash home and no well anything! Fortunately for her Jacob who is nice, steady and hard working is there to pick her up when she gets home and their rivalry and supposed distaste for each other helps soften the blow and lets them also start to really see what each other is like, as well as let the years of simmering attraction start to bubble up. London surprised me with how she decides to deal with everything that has happened and seeing her show what she is really about has me rooting for her, but yeah that family of hers yikes talk about dysfunctional!!! Jack and London are the perfect match due to how opposite they are including their parents and Jacks really are the bestest and always mean well. I can not wait to see what happens next for them, learning more about the family who has fallen from grace and seeing London's dream take shape has me impatiently waiting for the next book!!

This was a sweet romance with some great banter between the hero and the heroine. I would compare this book to a light, sweet Hallmark movie. It had lots of interesting supporting characters and an interesting premise. I enjoyed the banter between London and Jacob, but I didn'tt really feel the sparks between them. I'm not sure if it is because this a "sweet" romance without sex scenes and in-depth kiss scenes or because their banter just didn't translate to sexual tension to me. Despite that, this was an enjoyable story.

If you read this book, or already have, it does include a link to sign up for the author's email list to get an extended "behind closed doors" scene of when Jacob and London first have sex. I thought this bonus scene was done very well.

I'm interested in reading more from this series.

London just returned from her European trip but the chauffeur who picked her up at the airport was not the one she expected. What’s going on? Her chauffeur was the son of the gardener and her brother’s best friend. Hmmm! What’s going on?
Little did London know that everything had hit rock-bottom that day. No more chauffeurs, no more gardeners, no more anything like she was used to.
Now she must come to terms with the guy she has known all her life and had loved to hate. Now will it turn into something else? Can everybody see it but London?
Good story.
