finally finished the last chapters of this book, packed so densely with all the information you could ask for to process and analyze the events of the 2020 uprising and so much more

The writing is splendid and informative, but if you’ve read prior work or follow abolitionists movement this is a repetition of that.

A truly stellar read. There are very few words to describe how significant and impactful this book will be over the course of history. Incredibly researched, primarily sourced by the voices of abolitionists who are Black women, disabled, and/or Black queer/trans people.
