overall a really solid and engaging first volume, this is my first experience reading Asano’s work and it feels so distinct. lovely artwork, not yet sure what to think about the characters.

I know it’s wrong
I know it’s selfish
Such a short life
So little time

You know this pattern
Patchwork of any direction
Take my hand
We’ll walk through this together

This blue is a swirling ocean
The green, the ambition
The red is the guilt
There’s a lot of red.

It’s a nice first volume. Still trying to understand the characters and politics of the world but I’m definitely intrigued to say the least.

This is the story I wanted to read in Attack on Titan. Not the military, but the lives of people uninvolved in the fight!

Actually, this is the story I’ve always wanted to read!
