Comments in <20 words: Exciting adventures if real as proclaimed, rambling if not. Couldn't stand perceived arrogance at times.
What an adventure! Nếu không bảo đây là hồi ký, mình cũng không nghĩ con người có thể trải qua ngần đấy thứ chỉ để được ... tự do
My all time favourite book. Have read it many times and I never fail to find it inspirational. Incredible story, shocking and gritty and thoroughly entertaining.
Me ha gustado, pero poco. Es repetitivo, mucho, y el lenguaje es muy infantil, supongo que para darle ese toque a autobiografía, aunque no se lo cree nadie.

I couldn't decide if I should call this a memoir or not. There are many parts of this story that I question the accuracy of, but then I know that sometimes to share truth, you have to use fiction to make it accurate.
This book was never on my radar as something I had to read, but a co-worker raved about it (we're the only "book people" in our department. He is retiring at the end of the month and brought the book in (a library copy no less) for me to read. So I read it.
This book is just not meant for me. It just wasn't my kind of book. My 3 star review therefor, should be taken with a grain of salt.

Exciting beginning, a bit repetitive after about the half-way point, I skimmed the rest.

I read this book well before my brain was ready for it having been identified within my high school library with red-dot signalling its suitability for seniors only. The themes of prison escape and freedom appealed to my over-reaching & tearaway imagination. I was a budding butterfly. And butterflies are free to fly.
