I really, really loved this story. It was intriguing, mysterious, twisty, dark and all the things I'm looking for in a thriller. It's chock full of content warnings, but overall isn't terribly descriptive of the hard moments so check them, but if you're in the fence if give it a try.

*possible light spoilers ahead*
It's got what I'd call a happy ending despite all that occurs. Our main characters grow and heal and are on the path to happier lives as we reach the end. It was tragic in so many ways, but I really loved the outcome.

The twists were jaw dropping. I couldn't believe how intertwined everything ended up being... It was so well written and despite being pretty long, I absolutely devoured this book.

I just finished this book and all I’m going to say is page turner for sure. I was shocked at the end of the book and who actually did the crime that had in this book shocking to me I did not see that one coming at all. And then to find out what the guy who the one night stand was what the hockey sticks.
