I absolutely loved this book. Victoria and Angel showed a side of Marqaux that I wasn’t sure existed. Reading her and Michael’s story was amazing. They showed us a side of them both that they had tried to keep in the past as well as showing us that sometimes you need someone to be there and help you out of sticky situations.

Margaux has been hiding from everyone her whole life, now she is trying to keep herself hidden even more. She has been careful about controlling who knows about her family. Margaux has also been not talking about her past with anyone, trying to keep others from getting to close to her.
However, she is drawn to Michael, and wants him around.

Michael has been hiding his past from everyone, and always has. He has become a protector, someone that can't stand those he cares about getting hurt, a Captain America. Michael has been interested in Margaux for a while, and now they spend time together, however he wants more.

The challenge becomes will they be able to open up to each other and admit that they are attracted to each other? Will these two amazing people be open about what they think, feel, need, and want from the other one? Will Margaux be able to stop hiding? Will Michael be able to be honest with what he wants and how he feels about her?

Finally we get more than just a glimpse of Margaux!! This sassy, take no prisioners woman has been thrown off her pedestal and now has to pick up the pieces while keeping her secrets under wraps. But when Michael finally opens the door to more than just friendship will this be the beginning of a new chapter for Margaux? Or will she close yet another door in order to preserve herself and her heart? Just when I thought this series could not get any better along come this couple. I could not put this one down and now I just need more, more, more!!! I cannot say enough to recommend this series.

I really like this series. The retellings are very loose, but worth the read. This has been by far my favorite so far. Margaux is so salty and independent. She’s had such a change in behavior in this book, but I love her attitude. Also, this book is spicy! Very spicy! If you don’t like that then skip it. If you do, then I recommend it!

If you thought Killian and Claire was fabulous wait till you read No Perfect Princess. Margaux Asher is back with a book of her own and her love interest is Michael, who worked with her and Claire at her mom's PR firm, the son of an Apple farmer and Margaux is about to go picking. This book had it all love lies betrayal secrets and scenes that are steamy.

No Perfect Princess is a great book. I think this book is hilarious. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and would recommend to all who like a good romantic comedy. I have not read first two books in this series but didn't have any problem in understanding it. A few things that didn't make sense in the beginning, did by the end so it was all good. Although, I think it would've been better if I had read first two books. In any case I loved this one.
Margaux Asher has many secrets. This hard woman is in fact very scared. One of the things she is most afraid of is, falling for Michael. He is an amazing, caring guy, who deserves better than her. Although, Michael begs to differ... He has been friends with her for a while now. Only because he cared for her a lot, has he been able to restrained himself from making a move on her. He has demons of his own and doesn't want to hurt her in anyway. So whenever they start to get close to each other, one or both of them will back away. It was getting very irritating until Michael decides to confess his feelings and then things got really messy....
What I liked most about this book was the humour, the fun quirky way this story is written. at times it gets a little too much, if you know what I mean, but mostly it put a smile on my face, so definitely a good read!

This book was kind of funny to me.
You have two extremely stubborn people.
Both with two totally different personalities, yet they find themselves drawn to one another, but neither of them are wanting to admit how they really feel about each other and continue to friend zone each other.

Micheal is a lawyer, but has put his life on hold to back and help his mother on their farm for a while.

Margaux is a no bulls**t, strong headed, hot ass PR that works with Michael. She’s admired, but feared at the same time.

Shes stand offish, holding on to secrets of her own that she will go to any length not to expose. But when her friendship grows with Micheal, the more she trusts him, the more she opens up to him and the more she fears her secrets will come to surface. Over time, the friendship turns into more than that. It becomes flirty banter to begin with but as we dive deeper into the plot, you can see how they feel about each other. But Micheal continues to keep his feelings at bay, tries to keep her in the friends zone but struggles to.

Micheal goes and works on the farm, but is it really to help his mother? Or is there more reason behind it? To escape Margaux and the desire and passion he has for her? Will the time apart held him move on? Will it be good for their friendship? what was meant to be a few weeks turns into 6 months on the farm and both think that the time away will do them some good and that the feelings they both hold for each other will subside. But will they really?

On Michaels return things start to get intense, and not exactly in a good way. So much is happening in this books, so much desire, passion, longing, betrayal, hurt, lies, blackmailing and so much more.
This book really has it all!

I couldn’t put the book down, such a page turning and I didn’t expect anything less from Angel Payne and Victoria Blue. They both work so well together and deliver such amazing stories and this was no exception!

5 Stars from me.
MUST READ
Preferably in order so you can understand the character better, their stories better.

All of the relationships drama in this book could be easily resolved in a solid conversation by anyone at any point. And one grand gesture at the end wins the day? Pacing seemed off too. Miscommunication/ lack of communication seems to be a common thread in this series.

Michael Adam Pearson was a glutton for punishment. This man has more patience than a saint! I think the more than fickle Margaux Asher put that theory to the test throughout this entire book. Michael was all in for a relationship with Margaux but he was constantly walking on egg shells with her. She is so skittish when it comes to any "real" kind of feelings, that he was always afraid of saying the wrong thing to make her run, which she did often. Their constant banter and name calling is hilarious! Inside this book is a woman terrified of being hurt and left and a man terrified of never getting to be with the woman he really wants. It's full of tragedy, treachery, love, friendship and a boat load of self-discovery. She has a fabulous relationship with Claire and Killian. She also has a strange but good, relationship with her chauffeur, Andre. He's very protective of her.

WOW! What an incredible journey this has been with Margaux and Michael. Being Margaux must be exhausting! I often wanted to grab her, bear hug her and not let her push me away. She has grown so much over the series. I would be honored to have a friend like her. There was one thing I wanted more of in this book and that was Michael's story. *hint hint authors* Great book and series! I can't wait to see what these amazing authors come up with next.
