Despite my high-ish rating this one was pretty rough to get through. There were so many povs and some of them felt so underdeveloped. Lots of things that go unmentioned for the majority of the book and then get brought up which just messed up the flow of the book for me and felt like throw away plot lines. I was disappointed with some of the character arcs (Shallan unfortunately) and really disappointed with some of the characters I love (renarin for example!!) who didn’t get as big as a part so their storylines weren’t as impactful. However the ending, although confusing at times, kept me hooked and overshadowed how disappointed I was the majority of the book.

A bit slower than the previous two Stormlight Archive books, but with an ending (as usual) that's worth the dredge. Prepare to have many questions answered about Roshar, but so many more created. You can thank Sanderson for that.
